Jing Craft Return & Refund Policy

1. Return & Refund Policy

  • Order cancellation window (within 48 hours)
    You may cancel or amend your order within 48 hours of purchase by filling the Refund Request Form or contacting JingCraft directly.
    After 48 hours, cancellations may not be possible. If a cancellation is accepted after this period, a 50% administration/restocking fee may apply.

  • Change-of-mind returns
    Change-of-mind returns are not accepted once an order has been confirmed.

  • Made-to-order and customised items
    Custom-made, made-to-order, or specially finished items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once production has commenced.

  • Transit damage and major faults
    If your item arrives with transit damage or a confirmed major manufacturing fault, JingCraft will offer a remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. This may include repair, replacement (with an identical item where available), or refund, depending on the issue.

  • Reporting timeframe for delivery issues
    Any transit damage or visible defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos and proof of purchase.

  • Natural timber characteristics
    Natural variations in timber grain, texture, colour, and pattern are expected and are not considered defects.

  • Exclusions due to misuse or unsuitable conditions
    Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidents, or unsuitable environments (including excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight) is not eligible for return or remedy.

All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection and approval by Jing Craft, in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Jing Craft products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for major failure.

  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

  • Repair or replacement for minor faults.

These statutory rights are in addition to Jing Craft’s express warranties.

3. Care & Maintenance

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract with temperature and humidity changes.

  • Keep timber furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  • Use coasters or mats to protect surfaces from heat or moisture.

  • Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth — avoid chemical cleaners.

  • For leather and fabric items, follow the care manual provided at purchase.
    Failure to follow care instructions may void warranty coverage.

4. General Terms

  • Ownership of goods transfers upon full payment. Risk transfers upon delivery or collection.

  • Jing Craft will make every effort to deliver on the scheduled date but is not liable for delays.

  • In the event of a force majeure (natural disaster or event beyond control), Jing Craft may cancel orders and refund deposits without further liability.

To start a refund, please submit our Refund Request Form within 48 hours after placing your order. Once we receive your form, our team will:

  1. Review your request and check eligibility under our Return & Warranty Policy.

  2. Email you with approval, return instructions and any shipping details.

  3. Process your refund or exchange after the item has been received and inspected.
